About

Golf has always been more than just a game to me; it has been a constant throughout my life and has played a major role in shaping who I am both on and off the course. From an early age, the game taught me discipline, patience, and resilience. It gave me a place to grow, challenge myself, and learn how to handle both success and adversity with the same level of respect and composure.

My “why” is rooted in the impact golf has had on my life. The game gave me direction, a sense of belonging, and opportunities I may never have experienced otherwise. It introduced me to mentors who believed in me, lifelong friendships, and experiences that continue to shape my journey. Golf has a unique ability to bring people together, and I have always been inspired by the way it can build character while creating meaningful connections.

Today, my greatest passion is giving that same experience back to others. As a PGA of Canada professional, I have the opportunity to impact players at every stage of their golf journey. I teach more than 200 students each year, and whether it is helping a junior fall in love with the game, guiding a player through a breakthrough moment, or simply creating an environment where someone feels welcomed and excited to be at the golf course, I take pride in being part of their journey.

One of the most rewarding experiences in my career has been coaching Team Manitoba at the Canadian Junior Golf Championship. Having the opportunity to represent Manitoba and support young players on a national stage reminded me why coaching means so much to me. It is not simply about helping someone hit better golf shots; it is about helping young people develop confidence, resilience, and life skills that extend far beyond the golf course.

My commitment to growing as a professional and giving back to the game has also been recognized through being a two-time PGA of Manitoba Apprentice of the Year finalist. While I am proud of those accomplishments, they mean the most to me because they reflect the relationships I have built, the players I have helped, and the effort I put into creating positive experiences for others.

I believe golf is a game for everyone, and my goal is to make it approachable, enjoyable, and impactful for all who play. Being a PGA of Canada professional is more than a title to me; it is a responsibility and an opportunity to influence lives through the game that has given me so much.

My goal is to continue growing as a professional, coach, and leader while creating the same positive experiences for others that golf has provided me throughout my life. That is my “why,” and it is what motivates me to come to work every day with a genuine passion for the game and, most importantly, the people who play it.
