We are deeply saddened to announce the recent passing of former PGA of Alberta President and PGA of Canada member Kevin Vincent Hunter. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario on November 10th at the age of 70.

Tom Hanley died October 29, 2021 at 2 pm ATL time. Tom was instrumental in the integration of the PGA of Canada’s TCCP education program with the Coaching Association of Canada’s NCCP beginning in 2005.

The Warren Crosbie Community Leader of the Year Award, introduced in 2020 and named after PGA of Canada Past President and Life Member Warren Crosbie, is presented annually to a member of the association who has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and gone above and beyond to make a meaningful and lasting impact within their community.

When Nick Kenney’s second shot on the par-5 12th hole at Lookout Point Country Club hit the cart path and sailed 50 yards over the green, just minutes after Dean North hit it to tap-in length on the hole prior to get within two, it looked like the momentum may have been shifting at the PGA Head Professional Championship of Canada presented by Callaway Golf with support from G&G Brands.

Carding six birdies on Wednesday, The National Golf Club of Canada Head Teaching Professional Nick Kenney managed to get around a difficult Lookout Point Country Club in 3-under par to take a one-stroke lead into the final round of the PGA Head Professional Championship of Canada presented by Callaway Golf with support from G&G Brands.

The PGA Head Professional Championship of Canada presented by Callaway Golf with support from G&G Brands is slated for next week in Fonthill, Ontario, where 93 of the top Head Professionals, Executive Professionals, Head Teaching Professionals and Master Professionals in the country will head to the beautiful Lookout Point Country Club looking to be crowned as the final PGA of Canada National Champion of the season.
