Announcing the 2025 PGA Atlantic Scholarship Recipients

The PGA Atlantic is proud to introduce this years recipients of our scholarship program! Supporting members and apprentice professionals through opportunities for growth and development is a core mission of our association. In line with this commitment, the Atlantic Zone has launched a scholarship program to assist members, apprentice professionals, and their immediate family members in pursuing higher education through financial support. 

After thorough review by the Scholarship Committee, we are delighted to announce this year’s recipients: 

  • Paige Allen, Daughter of PGA Professional Wayne Allen, pursuing a Bachelors of Arts with a major in Child and Youth Studies at Brock University 

  • Keegan Miller, PGA Apprentice at Hampton Golf Club, working towards a Masters of Buisness Administration at the University of New Brunswick 

  • Cole Irwin, son of PGA member and Titleist Rep Chris Irwin, studying Chemistry at the University of Prince Edward Islands

  • Blake Wilson, son of PGA member Sarah Wilson, pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Saint Marys University .  

  • Baileigh Nelson, Daughter of PGA member Doug Nelson, pursuing a Bachelors of Arts degree at Kingswood University.

The recipients were selected based on their academic performance, community contributions and/or their involvement with the association. Congratulations to our scholarship winners, and a heartfelt thank-you to all applicants for their submissions.
