Ryan and MacIsaac … Callaway PGA Atlantic Professional Team Champs
What a turnout … 128 teams totalling 256 golfers enjoyed the Callaway PGA Atlantic Team Championship at the Abercrombie Country Club.
PGA Professionals Neal Ryan and Joe MacIsaac from The Links at Brunello came from behind to capture the 2021 Callaway PGA Atlantic Team Championship. Ryan is building a great resume for the summer with a runner-up finish in the PGA Atlantic Zoen Championship to go along with this victory.
A 12 under par 59 in Round 1 left them in third place, two shots behind Jarrod Romyn and Jordan Ells of Ashburn and one behind Cody Locke and Connor Shea of Andersons Creek.
A final round 60 gave them a one shot victory over Locke and Shea. Romyn and Ells slipped to 5th with a 65. Nick Frid of Stanhope partnered with Brian Affleck of Antigonish to finish tied for 3rd with the team of Brett Wilson from West Hills and Justin Shanks from Sussex.
