PGA Day History

PGA Professionals in the Atlantic Zone have united in the fight against prostate cancer. To promote awareness, professionals will tee up across the Maritimes in various formats on different days as part of ‘PGA Day... Play Golf All Day’.

In previous years, PGA Day has been scheduled over the course of a week in June, allowing for more flexibility for participants.

Since its inception, the event has generated over $98,609 for Prostate Cancer Canada Atlantic. We are fortunate to have the support of the Canadian Cancer Society, as the event's success would not have been possible without them.

We invite you to support the efforts of your local PGA Professional by donating at your member club or at the nearest club. Together, we can raise the awareness and funds that this cause deserves.

2024 Update:

We’re incredibly proud of the dedication shown by all of the participating professionals. Thanks to their efforts, the PGA of Atlantic raised an impressive $28,609 for prostate cancer this year, bringing our overall total to $98,609! Beyond supporting prostate cancer, the event has grown to also champion the fight against Crohn’s and Colitis, raising over $8,000 for this important cause.
