Gage … PGA Atlantic Pro-Junior Champions

After a year off due to the pandemic, the 6th Annual Sunice PGA Atlantic Pro-Junior was a special day with 32 teams participating!

The Abercrombie Country Club opened its doors on July 21st to almost 100 young golfers as they enjoyed this wonderful game of golf with their PGA Professional.

PGA Professional Jonathan Garron and the Abercrombie Country Club were wonderful hosts with lots of food, drinks and prizes for all of the junior players. Thank you to all of the staff and Abercrombie members who were very encouraging and supportive of the young golfers.

The young players enjoyed a great deal of food and drinks with the all-day barbeque. The Abercrombie food and beverage team were wonderful with the kids. Kimberley Garron who handled the registration and pictures was very popular especially when handing out the ice cream! A special thank you to Darren Tolliver, Doug Hill and other mentors from Black Lives Matter Golf for participating and encouraging a group of young golfers to enjoy this great day and game with other young golfers from Atlantic Canada.

The focus of the event is all about fun with less emphasis on competition. That being said, we recognized Gage as the low team with junior team members Matthew Brosens, Noah Riggs, and Jaxon Allen captained by PGA Professional Shawn Miller. The individuals received special champion headcovers handcrafted by Dormie Workshop.
